There is 50 payline version of Wolf Run in both land-based casinos and online called Wild Wolf - read my review of it here. Other than the amount of lines, there are few differences in the two games. If that wasn't enough wolves for you, IGT also have another title called Wolf Rising, which has similarities to Wolf Run, but longer reels. **Online tee times at Wolf Run Golf Club are pre-paid only. We have a 24 hour cancellation policy for online reservations.
If you are Duncan Golf member, please call the golf shop to make your tee time.**

Our courses are open and we are continuing with strict guidelines provided by the Governor, and to provide a quality outdoor experience to those that are looking to play at our courses: Lakeridge, Wolf Run, Toiyabe, Eagle Valley and Dayton Valley.
In anticipation of upcoming visits to our DGM properties, please utilize our online booking engines and prepaid tee time option and phone reservations to minimize the time required in the Golf Shop.
We have taken actions to make everyone feel safe and healthy during their time at a Duncan Golf Management property, we are creating a level of safety through each human contact point of our service.
Below are steps to increase the health, safety and smooth process for your experience:
During Check in at the Golf Shop – Our goal is to make the check in process as quick as possible for everyone involved. To encourage shorter personal interaction time at the check in counter we ask that customers arriving in groups of 2 or more send one person in to pay for the group. For the safety of everyone involved we would encourage credit card transactions verse cash transactions. We'll commit to sanitize and disinfect the check in area on a regular basis throughout the day. Retail in the golf shop will become limited to what is behind the counter and we will have a single point of contact - ball, gloves, etc.
Walking /Golf Carts and Golf Course – It is obviously easier to keep 'social distance' if you're walking the golf course. Golf cart rentals will be single rider only - unless household occupants. The idea is to stay out of the range of strangers. We will be removing the sand/seed bottles from each cart but leave the ball/club washer. Rakes have been removed from bunkers and flagsticks not be touched and placed in an upside down cup to prevent reaching into the cup. We would ask that golfers smooth out their footprints as best as possible after entering and exiting a bunker. In addition, we will disinfect and sanitize each cart in between rounds, including flushing and disinfecting each club/ball washer.
Food & Beverage – To limit interaction between Guests and Employees, we will only have 'drive through' or 'grab & go' options available to our Members & Guests and the beverage cart available. Our Food & Beverage Team will ask what condiments you would prefer and provide them with the food. There will be no seating in our dining rooms for the time being and we will be limited to only paper plates, disposable utensils and plastic cups will be provided. All food is presented to-go.
Driving Range/Putting Green – Balls will be dispensed in the golf shop and the ball dispenser will not be in use. Golf balls and buckets will be cleaned between customers. Please leave your range baskets on the range. Putting Green cups will be removed, and sand filled to the top of each hole - leaving about quarter inch from top of turf canopy- no cups.
Cleaning and Sanitizing – There will be a heightened frequency of disinfecting high touch areas such as restroom sinks and basins, doorknobs, counter tops, etc. It is our intention that if it's touched, we will wipe it with disinfectant.
Staff - Our employees are committed to use common sense and best practices including hand washing, non-contact greeting, social distancing and high levels of personal hygiene.
What you can do to help yourself and everyone else at the golf course:
• Limit contact with your fellow playing partners.
• Keep your distance from groups outside your own and remember 'social distancing' of at least 6 feet.
• Please do not play if you are not feeling well.
• Get in, get out and keep your visits in the clubhouse to the least amount of time as possible.
We will be constantly monitoring the changing developments of the Coronavirus outbreak. We are paying close attention to what the Centers for Disease Control, World Health Organization and local health administrators are relaying to the public for everyone's safety.
The health and safety of our Members, Guests and Employees is our number one priority. We'll continue to monitor the coronavirus crisis with the intention of doing what's right for the health and safety of everyone.
We truly appreciate your help and understanding during this very difficult time.
Sincerely,

Duncan Golf Management Team

Safety Briefing

A safety briefing and warm up session will be given to each wave before they start. You will be called to this 20 minutes prior to your wave time. Any runner who misses this briefing cannot take part in the Wolf Run so please make sure you are registered and at the start area at least half an hour before your start time. The Wolf Run is classified as an extreme event for several reasons:

  • The ground is very uneven - please be careful where you put your feet when running.
  • The mud is very deep in areas and very thick - please tighten your shoelaces or risk loosing a shoe.
  • Please keep an eye on head height branches as you run through woodland and watch your eyes.
  • When you tackle the obstacles, please ask the marshals for help where needed and follow their directions at all times.
  • Our swim section looks fairly short and easy. However, it's very cold indeed and exhausting even for fairly strong swimmers. If you are not a confident swimmer please take the alternative route indicated by the marshals. If you get into trouble whilst swimming please raise a hand in the air and wait for the lifeguard to come out to you.

Course Map and Markers

There will be a course map near the Registration area that will show the location of the obstacles. Kilometer markers will also be included on the course.

Water Stop

There is a water stop half way around the Wolf Run course.

Finish

The finish line is very close to the start area. When you have crossed the finish line, you will be presented with your goodie bag and your Wolf Run finisher's shirt.

Wolf Run After-Party

The Wolf Run After-Party will run throughout the day. There will be a bar selling Wolf Beer, usual alcoholic favourites and soft drinks. Our in house DJ keeping the atmosphere pumping in the main tent. There will be delicious hot and cold food available to purchase, including a local pig roast, baked potatoes and sandwiches. We have entertainment for the children too.

How should I differ my training for a Winter Wolf?

Your basic training should not differ hugely but it is especially important to make sure you have acclimatised to the seasonal weather and that you are used to being exposed to the cold and wet. Assuming you are covering the distance in training, begin to introduce the conditions. Do this responsibly but training with wet clothing and footwear is very important for a cold weather event.

The easiest way to do this is to make sure you go out for a run if it rains and don't dodge the puddles! Make the most of the wet grass in the park and put some rolls and dynamic core exercises into your shuttles to get your body used to it. If this is a new experience for you, try to train with someone, an instructor and/or with your pack. Remember to warm up well and get into dry warm clothes as soon as you finish. More advice is available on our training page.

Don't train in deep water without proper supervision.

Winter Swimming

Our swim section looks fairly short and easy. However, it is very cold indeed and exhausting even for fairly strong swimmers. If you are not a confident swimmer, please take the alternative route indicated by the marshals. If you get into trouble while swimming, please raise a hand in the air and wait for the lifeguard to come out to you.

Camping

Camping is currently only available at the Summer Wolf Run at Stanford Hall in June.

Money: Cash Machines

ATM; cash withdrawal facilities available on site for Spring; Summer; Autumn; Cash withdrawal is available from the Wolf Run Shop at Winter Wolf.

Toilets

Toilet facilities will be available including disabled and baby changing facilities. We provide a good number of toilets but there is ALWAYS a queue just before the Run kicks off, as 3000 people all have a last minute loo stop! Please arrive earlier if you don't want to queue!

Footwear

All runners must wear suitable footwear: enclosed shoes so that toes and feet are fully protected, with decent soles. Trail running shoes are recommended but running trainers are also fine. Absolutely no spikes on any running shoes! Please note: if you are not wearing suitable footwear, you may not be allowed to run, so if you have any queries about footwear please email us in advance on .

GO-PRO

If running with a GoPro it's a good idea to insert a note with your name and number in the waterproof casing.

Clothing

Runners should be aware of the weather forecast and bring appropriate clothing. Good quality running gear is recommended. Sunglasses and watches will get lost if they are not secured. iPods will definitely not survive the mud and water! A change of warm clothes, shoes and towel should also be in your kit bag.

For the Winter Wolf we suggest that long sleeve tops or base layers are a good idea to keep the chill off and they help to save your arms from scratches too. You will be getting wet and muddy so think about clothing that will not hold the water and become heavy! Warm hats and gloves are a great idea for running on cold days. Remember, you must bring dry warm clothes to change into after the event!

Check out our Wolf Run Shop for ideas on what to wear at the Winter Wolf. We will have our full range of running gear at the event along with last minute essentials such as hats and gloves!

Fancy Dress

Wild Wolf Run Slots

We are happy to welcome runners wearing fancy dress. However, your costume has to be Wolf Run course-friendly - there are obstacles including deep water and tunnels that would be tricky in a very large costume! We reserve the right to restrict or ban inappropriate fancy dress costumes.

Silver oak casino codes. Spectators

We welcome spectators at The Wolf Run. There is a lot on offer for spectators including; big screen showing the course obstacles, many food and drink options, games, live music and a D.J. We kindly request that spectators stay in permitted areas at all times, and do not obstruct the course.

Lost Property

If you find any lost property at the Wolf Run, please hand it in at the info desk or to the DJ in the main marquee registration area. If you lose property please go to the info desk to report it lost.

Photographs

Event photography is provided by Colin and Andy from Peachysnaps. If you see them on the course - smile! Their photos will be available to buy in hard copy or as a Facebook profile shot by the Wednesday after the Run. Links to the photos will be posted on the Wolf Run Photos page and our Facebook page. A notification will be sent to your email address and social media announcements will be made when they are ready to view.

Weather

If the course is reviewed prior to the Wolf Run and deemed unsafe due to extreme weather conditions, we will reschedule the event. The course is reviewed in the week before the Wolf Run and on the Friday before the event. Please check the website and Facebook in addition to your emails for updates in the week before the Wolf Run. If we were forced to delay the event, we would email you as soon as the decision is taken and you would be given the option of attending the rescheduled event or another Wolf Run at a later date.

We would not automatically cancel/postpone any run due to bad weather and all but the most uncharacteristically adverse weather would be of little hindrance to the run itself. We reserve the authority to eliminate areas of the course that would be unsafe in bad weather such as a swim section in extremely low temperatures, or woodland in extremely high wind. These decisions could be announced on the morning of the event or even during the run where necessary, but conditions will always be monitored in the build-up and throughout our events.

Accidents and Injuries

There will be doctors in attendance with a full medical team to deal with any accidents or injuries.

Your brain is the most extraordinary part of your body. It's responsible for your ability to move and to communicate. It controls your emotions and stores your memories. It's the part of you that makes you, who you are.

Yet, 102,000 people are currently living with a brain tumour and the impact can be devastating. Research into brain tumours is woefully underfunded. Survival rates are just 14% and treatments haven't changed in 40 years.

We know progress isn't happening fast enough. We need to do more, if we're going to find a cure. And we need to do it now. That's why we're investing in more forward-thinking research, more specialist support services, and passionately lobbying for more urgent change.

We're committed to improving life for everyone affected and to defending the most incredible part of the human body.

Brain tumours strike fast. But we believe that with your continued commitment and support, we can be the generation that stops them – right in their tracks.
